Ashley Bower OTR/L,SIPT Certified:    I have been an Occupational Therapist for over 12 years and have spent 11 years in pediatrics. Most of my career has been working in outpatient therapy, including a hospital setting and several private clinics. I have experience also working in a home health setting. I have worked with children of all ages from 1 month of age on up. My experience includes working with many different populations including children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Brachial Plexus Injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Coordination difficulties, Down's syndrome, handwriting difficulties, sensory/behavioral feeding disorders, Visual perceptual problems, and Sensory Integration deficits.

I have my certifications in Neurodevelopmental Training, Kinesiotaping, Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, and am certified to give the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. I also have many years of experience with handwriting and use the "Handwriting Without Tears" program. My primary focus has been sensory integration throughout the years; however, the neurodevelopmental training has been very helpful in treating children with neuromuscular problems. A holistic approach is optimal when working with a child. Areas that I address include: fine and gross motor skills, bilateral coordination, sensory processing, motor planning, strength and endurance, daily living skills, oral motor skills, visual perception, ocular motor skills, socialization, and play skills

I truly love working with children and believe working together with their families is crucial for achieving their goals and reaching their highest potential. It is also important to incorporate sensory and motor activities into every day life. I believe in helping families do this in easy, manageable ways.

Lacee Neidigh MOT,OTR working with kids in a variety of settings and situations has always been my passion. I graduated from Texas Tech University with my Masters in Occupational Therapy (December 2010). My experience has been in Outpatient pediatric, the school systems and working as a vision therapist. When working as a vision therapist, I realized the importance of a holistic approach which includes looking at the visual system, sensory system, auditory system and overall motor skills that help children become successful. I have worked with a variety of children with diagnoses including Down Syndrome, Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental delay, handwriting difficulties, Sensory Integration disorders, visual perceptional deficits, ocular motor difficulties, convergences insufficiency, diplopia (double vision), Exotropia, Esotropia, Amblyopia and eye accommodation deficiencies.I have worked with a variety of ages from infants to early teens. I am continuing to work on certifications to provide resources and tools for children and their families. Growing up with an uncle who had Down Syndrome, a nurse for a mom I learned, it is extremely important that all children are given the greatest opportunity for success. My grandmother was forever giving my uncle continued resources and tools for success and he is such a blessing in our family today. Getting to be a part of this growth in other families is a dream comes true. I look forward to continuing to grow and incorporate new and upcoming research, tools and resources into my evolving practice.

Nikki York MOT,OTR  I did my undergraduate work at Texas Tech University and graduate work at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for a Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2003. I have always worked in the area of pediatrics.  I have worked with children from age birth to 21 in home, community, and school settings. I am trained in Handwriting without Tears Program, Interactive Metronome, and The Listening Program. While in the school setting I was part of an Autism Team, along with a psychologist and speech therapist, for Autism and Differential Diagnosis. I am fortunate to have had experience working with wonderful children, affected by a variety of diagnosis and severity, in helping them to further grow and develop.  I believe strongly in working with parents, families and team members to fully treat the whole child and support those caring for them. Some of the many areas I have treated children in are motor development and planning, strength and coordination, bilateral integration, sensory integration, feeding and oral motor skills, handwriting and fine motor development, visual motor and visual perceptual skills, self care and play skills. Outside of work, I am married to my high school sweetheart and the proud mom of preschool age twins so I continue my “playing with a purpose” philosophy that guides my professional and personal life!
